Welcome to Motorvate Young Drivers

STOP PRESS! New website arriving shortly!

If you're a parent, a teacher of young drivers or a young driver yourself - you’ve come to the right place. The mission of Motorvate Young Drivers is to save the lives of young drivers around the world, and to reduce road deaths and injuries to a fraction of what they are today.

A big call? Yes, but possible if we begin teaching the right stuff, using the right training and promoting the right attitudes.

Motorvate Young Drivers is the only company in Australia that exists solely to educate young drivers in safer driving techniques and attitudes. Formerly called 'Motorvate', the company has provided training in all sorts of driving fields for more than 22 years. You won't find a greater breadth of experience in this fascinating yet complex field anywhere.

This website is where you will find all sorts of information about driving, but especially about:

1.   Our first book 'Motorvate - How to Crashproof Your Kids';

2.   Our second book, just released in 2009, 'Blood, Sweat & Gears'; and

3.   Our unique KYDz Programs, lectures and associated activities.

Nothing has been done before that tackles the issue of young driver safety with such honesty, humour and common sense. And the issues are global so our strategies for keeping your young driver safe apply equally to anyone in the world who drives!

Authors Jennie Hill and Geoff Fickling have worked with many thousands of young drivers for more than 20 years:

Jennie Hill is a teacher with post-graduate qualifications in special education, and has worked as an advanced driving instructor and presenter for 19 years.

Geoff Fickling has extensive driving experience gained from 20 years in motorsport competition, plus 21 years as a respected advanced instructor, motoring journalist and precision driving expert.
